The Painters Suite

The Painters bedroom and Suite are dedicated to the Beaver Hall Group of impressionist – modernist Canadian Women Painters at Beaver Hall Hill in Montreal around 1920. A colourful book of the painters “The Women of Beaver Hall” is in the room for you to read. Located on the second floor and south-west corner of the house this is one of our favourite rooms, with adjoining suite – sitting room with original (décor) open fireplace and a double size Simmons Hide-A-Bed. This bed is suitable to sleep two children/ teenagers up to 14 years or for one adult comfortably. The bedroom has a beautiful view of the garden. The Painters room has a queen size bed, oriental rugs on the floors and an en-suite 3-piece bathroom. This room and The “Heritage” room are great for traveling couples as they share this part of the house.

The Peninsula room is located on the second floor in the east wing and is named after the unique shape of the room. This cozy, light guestroom is suited for the single-traveler as it has one single bed, and an en-suite half bath. The private shower is located down the hall. The 10′ tin ceiling dates back to the late 1800’s and gives a lot of character to the room. An oriental rug covers the hardwood floor.
