Netherwood is a beautiful Grade II listed Victorian mansion offering the perfect combination of old world charm and all the essential modern facilities and comforts.

Perfectly situated amidst 15 acres of woodland and landscaped gardens, and blessed with breath-taking views across Morecambe Bay, the beauty of our surroundings is matched by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the friendliness and professionalism of our staff. Netherwood offers superb cuisine, comfortable bedrooms, cosy lounges and sunny terraces, all within easy access to the Lake District. We have everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay

We have 28 ensuite bedrooms within the main house. All are comfortable and well equipped with modern facilities and amenities, including flat screen digital Freeview TV and Radio, and tea and coffee making facilities. Most of the bedrooms in the main house have spectacular views across the Morecambe Bay estuary to the hills beyond, while the remainder overlook the woodland to the back of the hotel or the surrounding gardens.

Accessibility

We do everything we can to assist guests with limited mobility. We have ample designated disabled parking spaces and there is lift access from the car park to reception level and the first floor bedrooms. Although none of our rooms are currently specifically modified to accommodate wheelchairs, we do have certain rooms that may be suitable for guests with limited mobility. However we strongly recommend that prior to making a booking you speak to us directly to discuss your requirements. This will to enable us to advise you on the basis of your individual needs and to make the best possible arrangements for your ease and comfort.
