we attended on Saturday 7th of jan 4pm. seated as usual and we ordered our food and drinks. which came and were lacking in every department apart from the pizza, my burger was tiny and tasted of nothing. my partners dish had almost no chicken in it just cheese (Romesco Dish) and was tiny. oh also 2 sad half full bowls of soggy chips! for what you charge it was daylight robbery. all the while you had a rowdy hen party at the rear of the restaurant, shouting and screaming all drunk, it was like some low rate social club. I asked if you could have a word as I couldn’t hear myself think or my son trying to talk to me as they were all so drunk and rowdy! really lowered what you think you are in the market. eventually a ‘manager’ appeared who seemed to have zero managerial skills whatsoever as when I was voicing my concerns she was sniggering and saying I don’t deem that out of control!! she didn’t even go over and say the party they were upsetting other diners! most others were looking around and looked disgusted, just i was the only one to say anything. we were asked if we wanted a new table but the experience was already a nightmare and our table was full of food and drink and to move would have been ridiculous! the party got even louder, nobody went over and had a word. we ate our tiny portions of tastless food and tried to get the attention of someone to get the bill, 20 minutes later nothing so we went to the door and asked for the bill, which I was reluctant to pay, no sorry for your bad experience or anything! we also presented a voucher for a free main upon our arrival which the lady looked at, scanned something and said that’s fine it will be off your bill, only to realise when I got home and worked it out nothing in fact had been knocked off at all!! absolutley shocking experience, bad management, bad food and portion size, and this place has been let go! wouldn’t even have a word with the rowdy party that completely lowered the tone! awful and will not be returning, would have been better going to the pub up the road! this place has always thought it was something special, and its no better atmosphere than a chavvy birthday party. wont be going again. no chance and I warn others off too, ridiculous and completely inappropriate
