Sydney's lower north shore has a drinking and dining scene that's heating up, with The Public landing on the Miller Street block. The venture is the project of James and Will Christopher, of hot eateries like Laneway Cafe and Ms Miller. The fit out is semi-Scandinavian, with minimalistic decor, white walls and plenty of blonde wood. Plus, fresh Prince of Bondi has done a feature wall. The menu is Mediterranean, with strong Greek leanings.
With its light filled modern design and open layout, The Public is an inviting space to eat, drink and spend some time.
On the food front, our generous menu caters for all tastes and we offer a wide selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes for you to Share (or 'Not Share' if you choose). Of course, we haven't missed the Pub Classics and will always deliver a great burger, classic fish and chips and chicken parmigiana!
If it's a few drinks you're after you'll be spoilt for choice with the beer and wine selections. Our big and beautiful beer font holds 9 regulars, including one cider and a revolving 'special' tap to feature something different from time to time.
