Hamish Watts and Ben Carroll, the double act behind Bondi Hardware and The Botanist in Kirribilli, have opened The Butler in Potts Point. This bar-restaurant honours the historic Butlers Restaurant, which occupied the site over a decade ago, paying tribute to its original structure and service style. Group executive chef James Privett has created a French Caribbean menu with popular items like creole spiced lamb ribs and black bean boulettes.
Nestled amongst the backstreets of Potts Point, an eclectic oasis lies waiting. Exotic themes enclose the dining area, a forest-like garden consumes the outdoors, various textures of foliage complement the original sandstone walls and a twist on the traditional colonial influence is infused throughout.
