Designed for the city hustle-bustle, Pablo & Rusty’s or 161 for those in the know, is an industrial-chic cafe complete with brew bar and cupping roundtable. Coffee here is a serious affair and regular workshops hosted by coffee educators are a good way to brush up on your bean knowledge. Pair your single origin or aged Yunnan tea with a breakfast brioche or tart. Opened in 2013, locally coined in the CBD as 161, our central Sydney location is warm, industrial, and designed for the hustle. Housing our black bar and cupping roundtable, where regular workshops and cuppings are hosted by our coffee educators.
A range of single origins and filter coffee are always available, alongside outstanding fare focussing on local and seasonal produce. No table reservations, but we do suggest coming five minutes early to secure a table for large numbers. You’ll also find an extensive retail space for the home brewer. Additionally, we sell a range of exclusive and specialty teas, including our direct sourced aged Yunnan teas.
