Pomona is a traditional 17th century Lake District cottage, near Coniston, Ulverston, Windermere and Cartmel. Our great location makes a superb base for exploring the Lake District and is an ideal stopover for those walking the Cumbria Way and Furness Way. Grizedale Forrest park, just a short drive away is an excellent area for outdoor persuits, such as walking and mountain biking. 

Coniston lake, just 5 mins drive away, offers plenty of opportunities for water activities like scuba diving, swimming, sailing and canoeing.

We offer three beautifully appointed rooms sympathetically restored retaining many original features creating a traditional style complimented by modern comforts. All rooms are serviced each morning after breafast and are available to arriving guests from 4.00pm. 

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets.
