We celebrate the world in our cooking whilst sourcing as locally and ethically as possible and care about the planet as well as your plate. We are a collective of self taught cooks who aspire to create something a little different from the norm and spread a little love and happiness along the way.
Because working with food you are taking action to change the world – through how you source, cook and serve food; how you nurture and train; how you share and care.
We aim to create food that is nutritionally excellent and intelligently created; to foster a place where food, music, art, collective action and solitary reflection combine to inspire, nourish and enhance.
Creative, musical and conversational we are more than just a coffee house – we are a hub of informal creativity. People write films here, plan new businesses, develop connections and network naturally.
We support our local community by participating in the Best of Banchory discount card scheme. We offer a 10% discount on food on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5pm and 7pm. Best of Banchory cards can also be purchased at the Bistro.
