Patterdale Hall Estate is a 300-acre private estate located in the breathtaking Ullswater valley, wrapped around the southern tip of Ullswater, England’s most beautiful lake. Ideally located to explore the whole of the Lake District, we are within a short distance of Penrith, Keswick, Windermere, Ambleside, Bowness and Kendal.
The estate boasts 100 acres of ancient woodland to explore along with spectacular crags, a fantastic Victorian Waterfall Wood walk, a lovely little tarn, a private foreshore for boating or fishing on Ullswater, and a picnic area with fantastic views of the lake and fells. A multitude of the finest Lakeland walks lie on our doorstep (Helvellyn, St. Sunday Crag, Dollywagon Pike and Place Fell to name but a few), and the area offers the most dramatic Lake District scenery imaginable. The villages of Glenridding and Patterdale are only a ten minute walk away and in each you will find local shops, pubs and restaurants providing plenty of options to eat and shop.
Three pine lodges have been constructed to a high standard to provide comfortable accommodation all year round for up to six people. The lodges are situated on a sheltered site with ample space for children to play and for your own barbecue. Central parking is available for up to two cars per lodge, within metres of the lodges themselves.
