Old Radnor Barn is a Brecon Beacons Bed and Breakfast mid way between Hay on Wye and Brecon. Set within the Brecon Beacons National Park, Old Radnor Barn Bed and Breakfast is located within the Talgarth Conservation Area and is renowned for its scenic beauty, an ideal base for holidays in Mid Wales, South Wales and the border towns of the Marches.
The main building is a designated grade 2 listed building by Cadw and dates back nearly 300 years. Retaining many original features It was sympathetically renovated between 1998 and 2002. Formerly a stable building belonging to the medieval hall house by the name of the Old Radnor Arms. Dating from the mid 18th century, it has a stone roof and octagonal mullioned windows and has retained many of its original beams.
Situated on the western outskirts of the historic market town of Talgarth ( The Jewel of the Black Mountains), not so long ago the Old Radnor Barn was an overnight resting place for stallions travelling to stud on the Great Western Railway. The railway is now long gone, but the small market town of Talgarth still nestles peacefully in the foot hills of the Black Mountains.

We have a completely level access from our private parking area in to our property, at night this is lit by means of high-level LED motion sensor lights.
