Oakbank House offers bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in the Lake District. Oakbank House is located in the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and overlooks Lake Windermere and the fells beyond.

The Cumbria Quality Assured guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodation with many extra touches that make your visit one to remember.

We have 12 rooms and they are equipped with WiFi, digital TV, tea/coffee facilities and hair dryers.

We offer FREE use of the McDonald's Old England Leisure Spa in Windermere with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, ice room, multi gymnasium and a Health Spa. It is a three minute walk away from Oakbank House and is available seven days per week. Spa Treatments are not free and we advise advance booking if you wish to have spa treatments.

Our guest bedrooms are individually designed and offer high levels of comfort. Many regular guests have their favourite whether its a double or superior room.

Bedrooms are en-suite and several have a bath and shower. Every superior room has fantastic views of Lake Windermere and the Lakeland fells.

They all have tea / coffee making facilities, LCD Flatscreen digital TV with Freeview channels, radio, and hair drier. There are also ironing and trouser press facilities.

We have a number of Superior Rooms available, but we recommend you book early because they tend to go very quickly.
