We have seven cottages here at Talkin Head, with each cottage having beautiful views across the fields and valley towards the Lake District beyond.
All cottages have central heating and double glazing and hot water is available all day. Bed linen and towels are provided and are inclusive in the price. There is also a shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. The kitchens are supplied with full size cookers as well as microwaves.
Ample car parking is available and dogs and other pets are welcome but must be looked after all all times.
Cottages 1 & 2 - sleeps 6/8. Newly refurbished and extended, the accommodation now consists of three bedrooms. One double room with ensuite shower room and two other family rooms. There is another bathroom with bath and shower and a new kitchen/dining/living area with fabulous views over the farm to the Lake District. Number 1 has a balcony and a patio for eating out and number 2 has a patio.
Cottages 3 & 4 sleep 4 people. Each has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. The bathroom is on the ground floor. Upstairs is the living/dining area with galley kitchen and views over the fells.
Cottages 5 & 6 sleep 2 people. The double bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor with the kitchen/dining/living area upstairs, with views over the fields.
Cottage 7 sleeps 4 people. Downstairs are two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with twin beds, and the bathroom. The large living/dining/kitchen area is upstairs with views to the stream and fields beyond.
