4 Vicars is the vision of husband and wife team Gareth & Kasia Reid. The restaurant opened in May 2014 and is the current holder of the highly prestigious Georgina Campbell award for the best casual dining restaurant in all Ireland.
The chef, Gareth is a County Armagh native whose career as a Chef has brought him all over the world from Belfast, Dublin, Cork, France, London, Connemara to the Bahamas. Throughout his 17 years of experience in some of the best establishments he has developed his own individual confident style focusing on big flavours and using only the best local ingredients.
The manager, Kasia gave up a career in finance after a gap year travelling the world brought her to Delphi Lodge in Connemara where she found her true calling with a career in the hospitality industry. Kasia has grown in experience over the last 12 years firstly running the front of house in Delphi Lodge in Connemara and then at the Delphi Club on Abaco Bahamas. At 4 Vicars in Armagh Kasia will look after your every service need with grace, charm and enthusiasm.
Gareth & Kasia Reid’s business, 4 Vicars is situated in beautiful surroundings in Armagh adjacent to the ancient Cathedral on Vicars Hill. This area is steeped in history and there are lots of attractions to visit before or after Lunch or Morning Coffee at 4 Vicars. The restaurant consists of 3 intimate dining rooms all housed within a beautiful converted Georgian listed building. We also have beautiful garden terrace overlooking Navan Fort which can be used weather permitting.

At 4 Vicars we aim to provide our customers with the best dining experience possible, this begins with the ingredients. Armagh is surrounded with lush green grass and fertile land we are blessed with perfect growing and grazing conditions and therefore produce some of the best fruit, vegetables and livestock in Europe. Our fish and seafood is all caught locally and landed in Kilkeel.
At 4 Vicars we believe in sourcing the best local produce cooking them simply, serving the true taste of Armagh. You can see this from our suppliers who are all local, talented and passionate people making it much easier for us to give you the best that Armagh and 4 Vicars can offer.
The day at 4 Vicars begins with homemade scones, pastries and daily baked homemade treats all served with lovely fresh Coffees and Teas supplied to us locally by Koffy in Newry and Suki Tea in Belfast.
Lunch at 4 Vicars is served between 12pm and 3pm and serves a balanced menu of light and healthy dishes as well as some hearty filling ones all from locally sourced ingredients and all made freshly.
4 Vicars is open for dinner on Friday and Saturday from 6pm we will showcase the best of Armagh food and aim to be the perfect place for a romantic meal for two, a family catch up, a business supper or any other occasion.
