The Museum is a two up and two down cottage with the upper floor accessed by stairs with a bannister. Access for wheelchair users to the two downstairs rooms is provided from the door by the main road and we can remove furniture to improve the experience. Our upstairs displays including the Weardale Tapestry can be viewed in our large books and on our specially designed ipad displays.
There are a number of chairs sited around the building for visitors to take a rest.
