Giovanni Pilu, the two-hatted chef behind Pilu at Freshwater, is the brains behind Pilu at Akuna Bay. Only one hour north of the Sydney CBD, Akuna Bay is located in the picturesque Hawkesbury and Cowan River in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The vast waterfront restaurant is set at the d'Albora Marina overlooking the water. Pilu at Akuna Bay specialises in private functions but is open to the public for one service per week, Sunday lunch. The restaurant is family-friendly and offers a set menu of antipasto and three courses.
