The interior is modern and chic, though the al fresco tables that spill out on to Roscoe Street are the place to be in order to experience Bondi's lively, relaxed vibe first hand. Hurricane's Bondi Beach accepts reservations and walk-ins. For large group bookings, there is a maximum of 20 people per table.

Hurricanes is famous for its ribs, and for good reason – you can smell the sweet, sticky basting sauce from far off, and the flavour is unbeatable. The full rack is a huge serve, but you'd be surprised at how much you can manage once you get going. The burgers feature the same delicious glaze, and barbecue and spicy Portuguese chicken, fresh seafood and generous salads comprise the rest of the menu. Hurricanes also bakes a range of gourmet cakes, perfect for celebratory group occasions. Choices include the ‘monsoon', layers of feuilletine and espresso mousse wrapped in jaconda sponge and finished with milk chocolate glaze, or the gluten free mango and white chocolate torte, layers of japonaise, mango and white chocolate mousse, finished with mango puree.
