We screen a diverse range of films including foreign language films, low-budget independent films, documentaries, animation and short films.
Due to limited seating capacity we advise booking in advance, or checking availability before setting out, so that you are not disappointed.

General Access Information
- The Film Theatre is fully accessible to people using wheelchairs and has an accessible toilet. The cinema has space for 4 wheelchair users - advance booking these spaces is recommended.
- There is a disabled badge holder’s space in the car park. The Hullabaloo restaurant and museum on the first floor can be reached via a stair lift.
- The auditorium is fitted with a loop receiver which is suitable for people with hearing aids with a T switch.
- The RBC accepts the CEA Card (Cinema Exhibitors’ Association Card). This is a national card that can be used to verify that the holder is entitled to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema.
- Application forms can be picked up from the box office or downloaded from www.ceacard.co.uk.
For regular screenings, CEA Card holders will be entitled to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema.
- For Access Cinema screenings, anyone who needs to bring along a helper to assist them in any way, will receive a complimentary ticket.
- A large print copy of the programme is available at the Box Office upon request.
Access Cinema
- For most of the films in our programme we can schedule a special Access daytime screening for groups of 10 or more visitors buying a ticket. The RBCFT will do its best to provide a suitable environment to meet the groups’ needs. Anyone who needs to bring along a helper to assist them in any way, will receive a complimentary ticket.
- We can do the following:
• Facilitate wheelchair access.
• Provide a ‘low sensory environment’ where the films have no subtitles, the volume is turned down, the and the house lights left on low, and adults and children are able to make noise and move around if need be.
• Facilitate hearing loop users.
- We are also provide to provide an auditory description system for blind or partially sighted customers. These films are noted in our tri-monthly brochure and online.

- For group bookings tickets cost £4.60 per person. Assistants/carers free.
- Please note, due to licensing agreements, not all films can be considered for an Access Cinema screening.

The cinema has space for 4 wheelchair users – advance booking these spaces is recommended. Staff very helpful and friendly. Disabled access very good and the disabled toilets very good but the access door is a bit small, tricky manouvers to get out. Overall great visit and accessible place.
