Welcome to Bath’s only purpose-built concert hall. The Michael Tippett Centre is a hub of music teaching activity at Bath Spa University and also hosts a busy schedule of public concerts.

Based on the design of Snape Maltings, the venue was opened by Sir Michael Tippett himself – a local resident and former external examiner for BSU’s music department. The auditorium has hosted world-class talent from every musical tradition and every part of the globe.

Concession and carer tickets are available for many of our performances. If you have any access issues, please let us know when you book and we will do all we can to accommodate your request.

All our venues are fully accessible. Seating is unreserved (unless stated), but if you require a particular seat, please speak to a member of staff upon arrival.

Assistance dogs are welcome.

• MT.G01 is a large area for various performances.
• It has level access and allocated seating at the front of the area and the rear.
• There is a fixed hearing loop in the room.
• There are automatic doors to enter the venue on the first floor.
