Alessandro Pavoni, chef and owner of hatted Italian restaurant Ormeggio at the Spit has expanded with Chiosco by Ormeggio, which is very exciting news for those who have tried his excellent Italian food. With “Italian trattoria” as a concept, think dishes such as fritto misto, fried zucchini flowers and dishes from the charcoal grill and other fun, shared style plates. We guarantee you won’t be able to go past the ‘suppli’, crumbed risotto balls filled with peas, oxtail ragout and fontina cheese! And it wouldn’t be a true Pavoni venture without magnificent handmade pastas, great coffee and genuine Italian flavours.

The food is splendid inspired by various regions in the ol’ country. Gorgeous location on a little jetty off spit road, Mosman. Stunning views all around you being ON the water. Food was wonderful- Italian cuisine.
