Historically, Toronto loves its bacon. Way back in 1854, William Davies brought his pork processing company over from England and it was the beginning of an era. Peameal bacon was invented and a pork empire was built at the mouth of the Don River. Toronto just couldn’t get enough.

At Rashers, we know what makes a great bacon sandwich. We’ve mixed and matched the best cuts, cures, and flavours with fresh, locally sourced ingredients until we found the perfect, mouth-watering combos. We’ve taken lessons from our British roots and spiced up some classic Canadian favourites, giving everyone a taste of our home towns, old and new.

Rashers is Toronto’s only bacon-only sandwich restaurant. We believe simplicity tastes best. Rashers uses only the highest-quality bacon sourced from a local family-run farm and the best bread baked right in the city, delivered fresh daily. Rashers keeps customers coming back time and again with new and exciting bacon sandwiches introduced monthly to their delicious menu.

The owners both live in the Leslieville area and are committed to working with the community & local businesses to promote and help Leslieville grow.

And best of all, we make your sandwich exactly how you want it. Substitutions are welcome, additions are encouraged, and everything is always made to order.

Food that makes your mouth sing! :) Super fresh ingredients and food (you wait a little because they cook the food after your order), friendly service, and heavenly taste! I think I’m becoming a regular here. 2 big steps at the entrance so it is not suitable for wheelchair bound users.
