Pages Park railway station is a railway station serving the southern area of Leighton Buzzard. Pages Park is the terminus of the heritage narrow gauge Leighton Buzzard Light Railway.

We are a non-profit charitable organisation, run and managed by volunteers, and dedicated to the preservation of our historic railway since 1967. We were awarded the prestigious The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2017 for '50 years of conserving England’s industrial railway heritage', and this year also marks the centenary of two of our World War 1 locomotives.

In our 50th year, we've launched an appeal to extend our line back to its original terminus, and need to raise £40,000 by the end of September to secure track components and to start preparatory works.

We have many openings for anyone who wants to join us, put a skill to good use, or maybe even learn some new ones. Come and talk to us, take a look at our volunteering page, and find out how you, or someone you know, could become part of this amazing success story.

Accessibility

Customers with special mobility needs have priority parking outside Page's Park station. Two of the railway's coaches can be adapted, so that passengers in wheelchairs can travel in comfort, accompanied by the rest of their party.

Wheelchairs are accommodated on our trains in special seating bays, alongside other members of their party and members of the public. Wheelchair uses pay the normal price, but one carer travels free. Space is limited, and there may be operational reasons for wheelchair accommodation not being available on certain trains, so advance booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

There is ramp access to most facilities, including dedicated toilets in the buffet building and main building at Page's Park station, and into the wheelchair area on the trains.

For customers with impaired sight, all of our leaflets, together with prints of website pages, are available in large print, on request in advance. Our volunteer staff are also willing to read out or write down information, and this may also be helpful for those with impaired hearing.

For customers with very small children, a changing facility has been installed in the toilets in the Buzzrail Café at Page's Park.

There are also high chairs available in the buffet itself, and the Guard will look after buggies while you are on the train, subject to available space.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on our trains, as well as assistance dogs, and they travel free of charge. A bowl of water is usually available for our four-legged customers at both ends of the line.
