During the weekdays there is limited parking access at the Lapworth Museum of Geology, and as always we would encourage our visitors to use public transport.
If however you would prefer to visit us via car during the week; when approaching the University you will be directed to our multi-story car park, the North Car Park. This is a pay and display car park, and is a short 10 minute walk from the Museum (see link below).
Should you be a visitor with a Blue Badge, please approach the University campus via our ring road (see our Edgbaston Campus Map above), inform the security staff of your needs and you should be allowed on site. There are a small number of blue badge spaces adjacent to the Museum.

On arrival found there are a few number of blue badge parking spaces adjacent to the Museum. This is a museum of rocks but so much more. It had modern interesting interactive displays and highlights the West Midlands importance in the study of fossils. All displays were suitable for children as well as adults and showed a regard for the needs of wheelchair users. The museum is fully accessible for use by wheelchair users. Staff very helpful nothing to worry about.
