Located in one of Romsey's oldest thoroughfares, King John's House and Heritage Centre is an accredited museum that emcompasses three buildings that contain 750 years of history. As well as exciting exhibitions and a wonderful tearoom, we also hold monthly historical talks, art exhibitions, craft events, recreational role play events and school trips. 

Opening times:

Monday – Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm all year round. Some Sundays for special events.

Entrance to Garden and Tea Room is free.

  • Adult: £4.00
  • Concession: £3.00
  • Accompanied child: £1.00
  • Family Ticket £9.00 two adults plus children
  • Annual Gold ticket – this includes our monthly talks £10
  • Life membership £30.00

This ticket enables you to come back as many times as you like within a year.  We operate Gift Aid on entrance fees and would appreciate it you are able to gift aid the entrance fee.

The Victorian museum is equipped with a disabled visitors toilet and a platform lift.
