Housed in a heritage building in the heart of the financial district on the south west corner of Yonge Street & Temperance. Sud offers two very unique dining experiences. The main floor “la Mensa” houses an Italian cafeteria-style approach with options to “grab & go” OR stay. Pick-up a tray and select from an assortment of hot or cold items from glass displays featuring italian pastries, fresh bread, breakfast, lunch and dinner items that are long established favourites & some new limited items found exclusively at this specific location.
On the second floor of Sud Forno, you’ll also find “Da Geppetto”, an intimate and elegant dining space dedicated to Cosimo’s Father, Vince. In creating its menu, executive chef Giovanna Alonzi wanted the presence of bread and mother yeast to be felt as a reminder that “Da Geppetto” is Sud Forno’s restaurant. You’ll find some of our favourite classic Italian dishes and traditional ingredients reinterpreted in creative offerings that you will not be able to find on any Terroni menu.

This place serves up many items familiar to Terroni patrons, like pizza, sandwiches, and salads, as well as brunch, though offerings can be found here that are not available at the Queen St. location. Flat access from side walk, inside the restaurant spacing between the tables is less. Beautiful street level eatery. Pick from the counter, pay and get a seat. Table service available upstairs. Not that deep of a menu but quite inspiring options.
