Our Stansted Great Dunmow hotel is perfectly placed if you want to just pack up and fly off - it's an easy 12-minute drive to the airport. And it's easy to find, thanks to its convenient location just off the M11.

The historic Roman village of Great Dunmow is a stone's throw away. Wander the cobbled streets enjoying the friendly atmosphere and then stop for a pint in one of the cosy local pubs.

All rooms feature a comfy king size bed with four plump pillows and a cosy duvet. Our on-site restaurant and bar serves breakfast and tasty evening meals.

How to get to your hotel

From J8 on the M11, follow the A120 East, bypassing Stansted Airport and then exit at Dunmow South. At the roundabout, take the first exit (signposted Gt Dunmow), then turn immediately left again. Our hotel is situated just off the Chelmsford Road, next to the fuel filling station.

The car park is operated by Britannia Parking Ltd on behalf of Travelodge and charges are £3 per 24 hours.

I’ve stayed at the this travelodge a few times back also. I am a disabled traveler and always find the staff here very helpful and I can always get a ground floor room with a disabled bathroom. There are only 3 disabled bays in a huge car park and these are not policed at all and I have never had any luck getting one of them when coming back in an evening as it was parked by non disabled user without blue badges. The rooms are for disabled with walk in showers. All the staff were very nice. Another enjoyable and accessible stay for me.
