Facilities & access at the Graves Gallery
Parking
Due to its city centre location, there is no dedicated car parking at the Graves Gallery. The closest car park is the NCP on Arundel Gate, approximately 200 metres away. Limited disabled parking spaces are available for blue badge holders in Surrey Street, just outside the main entrance to the Library and Graves Gallery.
Wheelchair access
The Graves Gallery was built in the 1930’s and as a result wheelchair access is not ideal. Please use the entrance to the Library and Graves Gallery on Arundel Gate, where the Library porters will assist you in accessing the Gallery on the 5th floor via the lift.
Toilets/baby change
Ladies toilets are located just outside the entrance to the Gallery – gents toilets are located just inside. Disabled access toilets are available via the Library. Unfortunately there are no baby changing facilities at the Graves Gallery.

The Gallery currently has no cloakroom, lockers, or buggy storage.

We welcome guide and hearing dogs only to the Gallery.

Latest Reviews
No dedicated accessible parking for the disabled visitors at the gallery. Limited disabled parking spaces are available for blue badge holders in nearby street only. I last visited 10-12 years ago and had forgotten what an amazing place it is. It’s easily accessible through the main entrance of the Central Library, but if you are not fit use the lift as the climb is quite arduous up to the 3rd floor. Disabled access toilets are available via the Library. The cafe is open from 11am until 2pm, but doesn’t open on Wednesdays when the gallery has different opening hours. There is a lovely shop selling lots of products made in Sheffield. Overall once again good visit.
