I was visiting with my disabled partner to Forty Hall and it was lovely visit. We took his wheelchair into the house and as a newbie to pushing a wheelchair, I was very pleasantly surprised that the chair could easily fit through all the lower ground floors. There is a very small step at the entrance and I did find that difficult to negotiate. A very nice lady met us at the front door and advised that there is a lift to get to the upper floor but that we would only get one wheeled item in it at a time. And the toilets were excellent too and there are baby changing facilities in both the gents and ladies. Cafe serving snacks and drinks. Lovely house well maintained, interpretative panels but little furniture. Overall great visit and accessible.
