Our menu offers a broad selection of vegan meals, snacks, sides, desserts and drinks. We draw inspiration from across the globe and from our own diverse and vibrant city. Our menu features Japanese/American inspired comfort foods like quinoa mac ‘n’ cheese, burgers, salads and rice bowls. We pride ourselves in our cooking and being on the cutting edge of flavour and fusion cooking in the vegan community. We were first inspired to open Grasshopper Restaurant in 2012 after noticing a specific lack of fusion plant-based cooking in North America. We wanted a place with a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere and a focus on diverse, but approachable flavours. After spending some time touring the culinary community in Toronto and attending a vegan culinary course at George Brown College, it became apparent that Toronto was the ideal place for our dream to come true. It took a lot of effort, thought and time, but it all payed off with the welcoming arms of the Toronto community. We opened Grasshopper College on March 3rd 2013 and have been been serving unique, tasty and affordable plant-based food ever since. We were so excited to be able to launch our second location in the Junction on April 1st 2016 alongside some of the best restaurants in the city. It was our goal to bring a new plant-based space to the Junction community by keeping things unique and fresh. Again, we were thrilled by the way the community embraced us.

Located on a stretch of College Street populated with bars, nightclubs, and eateries, this resto is quickly carving out a reputation for itself with super-friendly staff and delicious food. It’s a quaint little place with only about 25 seats, but the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Spacing inside the restaurant is good and flat access from the side the sidewalk.
