Even if its location has been anything but static, having re-opened on April 1st 1996, what distinguishes Mezes from other restaurants is consistency where it counts.

They began with a few select family recipes, dishes that would be served in any traditional Greek home, and every one of those remains, unchanged, on their menu. Fresh, quality products are the base of every dish, and are certainly the best promoters of taste and texture. They encourage liveliness by emphasizing spirited, gracious service because your enjoyment is about more than good food - it's about good company.

The emphasis here is on sharing; a kind of collective dining that transforms a meal into an experience. Mezes promotes the most genuinely Greek method of dining: order multiple dishes, celebrate variety, and sample everything. There's a remarkable unfussiness to the process that enthuses more vigorous conversation, and rippling laughter. While their list of entrées is considerable

Flat access to the entrance of restaurant from the sidewalk. Spacing inside the restaurant is less, small manual wheelchair can hardly manage. Pretty decent sized portions, very good saganaki. Long wait time. It has a lot of gluten free items, vegan items, and vegetarian items.
