Our Wellington Somerset hotel, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills AONB, is a couple of miles from the centre of this friendly market town, known for its independent shops and its reputation as a foodie's paradise.
After paying homage to the 'Iron Duke' at the Wellington Monument on the hillside overlooking the town centre, sample the local brew at nearby Sheppy's Cider Farm or stroll through the peaceful gardens of Cothay Manor.

Take junction 26 of the M5 onto the A38. Continue for half a mile. Take the first exit at the roundabout. Take the third exit from the next roundabout. Take the third exit from the following roundabout. The hotel is situated on your left.

There is car parking including disabled slots. Request a disabled room where the beds are lower and easy access. The room was adequate with the toilet and bathroom clean and adequate. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean with beds comfortable for disabled guests. Great disabled facilities for we needed. Great easy location and plenty of stores nearby. Breakfast was great and tasty in the morning. Overall great accessible stay for me.
