Templecarrig House is situated 200m from the picturesque village of The Neale. The Neale is 3miles from Ballinrobe, the local busy town; on the Castlebar to Galway main road (R334). The house is set in an idyllic rural setting, yet only walking distance from the local village which boasts two restaurants and two pubs.
Accommodation
The four bedrooms at Templecarrig House are all en-suite, boasting luxury while at the same time keeping with the old style atmosphere of the house and its surroundings.
On arrival into the B&B, you are greeted by a large bright room with Douglas fir king post roof beams and traditional Liscannor flagstone flooring.
All our facilities are on ground floor level to enable ease of access for all who visit us at Templecarrig House, there is also a ramp at the front entrance to the B&B that aids those with buggies or wheelchair users.
Bedroom number four in the B&B is specifically designed for wheelchair users.
Hospitality
All our guests are greeted on arrival personally by a member of the family and their bags/suitcases taken to their rooms. All guests are offered complimentary tea or coffee as they reach their new destination, along with fresh home-made baking made by Monica.
Babysitting Service is one of our family orientated services we offer in order to allow all guests to fully enjoy their stay in the area.

We have a number of horses that are in the paddock close to the house that children can experience in a rural setting
Templecarrig House has a Heritage Display which guests can enjoy. We have found that most guests have an interest in some aspect of heritage, of those days gone by. The area around The Neale is steeped in history, such as Boycott and many monuments from Landlord times.
Inside the cottage you are instantly greeted by a typical country kitchen from days gone by, showing all the old artefacts from the past.
