The town is regarded as the Gateway to the Isles, with many interesting places to visit on the mainland or by a short ferry crossing to the islands. Visitors to Oban can explore a number of tourist attractions, including the Waterfront Centre, the Chocolate Factory, and the War and Peace Museum – all within easy walking distance of the Regent Hotel. Oban offers a fantastic choice of leisure activities including some of the best scuba diving in the UK. Guests can also go cycling, or head to the fairway at Glencruitten 18-hole golf course, situated close to Oban town centre.
The Regent is a beautiful art deco hotel, based on the esplanade of Oban, opposite the pier. It boasts dramatic views across the sea to the Isle of Mull. The hotel is a mixture of classic Victorian and art deco architecture and is an ideal base for exploring the west coast of Scotland.

Latest Reviews
Stayed at this hotel for one night recently. The Hotel is certainly not disabled friendly with no ramp and too many steps. The hotel itself is in desperate need of decorating throughout and has poor accessibility for disabled customers. Also, lift does not take wheelchairs very good, very tight no room for someone to help you. Our evening meal was very nice and we had no complaints. Disabled access was not good but the staff were very willing to help.
