All rooms en-suite. Four poster double room(Birch)with adjoining single (Rowan) for families, family size bathroom with bath and separate shower. Single Lavender room with en-suite shower room. All rooms have tea tray, biscuits, fruit, nuts and Durham fudge, radio alarm clock, TV, and 'stone' hot water bottles, organic cotton accessories and Durham organic soaps

Main Entrance and Reception

• Entrance is into guest dining area and reception.

• Recycled paper Pad and pen on arrival, staff on duty at all times.

• Guests escorted to rooms and facilities explained.

• Corridors have Mahogany dado rails, contrasting colours on walls.

Dining Room

• Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor.

• Furniture is flexible and can be moved on request.

• Circular table has underspace of 67cm high (legs on each corner). There are chairs without arms which can be moved.

• We do not play background music in any area of the B and B

• Full waitress service is available.

• Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and all other diets catered for.

• The bed and breakfast is no smoking throughout the premises.

Bedrooms

• All 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, with a secure lockable door in the family suite.

• Televisions all have remote controls and teletext/subtitles.

• A bell is provided in the central corridor to call for assistance.

• Carpets are all fitted short pile, with tiled floors in bathrooms.

• Lights are fitted with low energy bulbs and 2 rooms have dimmer switches for overhead lighting. The Birch room has a double four poster bed with good access from both sides, and the Rowan and Lavender rooms have standard single beds.
