Allmore Cottage is set in 14 acres and hidden away on the south west edge of the Peak District National Park. It was a neglected farm building in the tiny hamlet of Gratton when we moved to Hallmoor Meadows Farm in 2008 but after careful renovation it now provides a comfortable and well equipped holiday home from which to explore this beautiful area. We were awarded a 4 star gold award by the "British Tourist Board" for this superb cottage tucked away in the most peaceful of locations. We are a pet friendly but no smoking cottage.
Allmore Cottage has oak floors throughout and exposed beams, it is just for 2 people. It has an open plan living area with vaulted ceiling, leather sofas, gas central heating, woodburning stove and an excellently equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher and freezer. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower cubicle. A recently added conservatory at the rear of the cottage is ideal for relaxing in and enjoying the views across the surrounding countryside. From here double doors open out onto the private patio area. Parking is by the cottage, there is one internal step otherwise everything inside the cottage is on one level. Pets are welcome with a designated exercise area. All the usual facilities ie:- bed linen, towels etc plus 24hr laundry, WIFI and recently added, SKY TV.
