House on Parliament has been a part of the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto for 15 years. Co-owned by Tania Waldock, Beau Opperman and Duncan Hammond, the restaurant has become the local for many of the neighbourhood residents and people whom travel from all parts of the city for the experience. Busy pub with dark-wood accents that pours local & global beers, plus chic bar bites & British fare. The House On Parliament is one of those neighbourhood haunts that seem to be well represented in movies and tv, but not quite so represented in real life. Although not quite on the 'Cheers' level of things, this is a place full of familiar friendly faces, friendly staff who aren't afraid to take a jab at their customers (all in good fun of course), and lots of good grub and drink.

Great food that schmecks. pickerel and pulled pork. Excellent selection of draft beer. The atmosphere on Parliament makes the place. Pub food with great servings. Service is friendly. Tables are too close to each other and moving around place is very less.
