In our hotel bar Femte i Andre, known to be one of Norway’s best bars, you can enjoy the atmosphere with a delicious drink. The famous character Varg Veum from author Gunnar Staalesen’s novels, is a famous guest at hotel Scandic Strand. In the novels, he turns up in and around the hotel on several occasions. We have a breakfast buffet with sea views, as well as a meeting capacity for up to 80 people divided between 5 meeting rooms. When you stay with us, you can exercise for free at our hotel corporate partner Actic Gym, located only 5 minutes away from our hotel, or borrow walking poles or a bike from reception.
