rowing up in New York, my dad would cross the city for the 'right' tomato for a recipe. That was only if it wasn't already growing in his garden. He knew which church was selling home made goodies on which weekend like sausages, who was selling the best meats and cheese, and what day to shop for it.

Some things you can never replace but we try hard to make the kind of food dad would have driven here for. Our soup stock is made right here. We add the veggies when you order it. No soup pot warming and overcooking everything. The bread you're gonna be dipping in that soup is a mini grilled cheese, on homemade bread.

That's just a hint of what we do here. When we say curious it's to remind you that not all Italian food is red sauce and mozzarella. Sometimes it's just quality ingredients prepared simply.

We don't follow a book of rules, we made a place for you to be comfortable and well fed. We like home cooked food so thats what we serve. Not all Italian food requires pasta or red sauce. Sometimes the special is just what Mom and Pop want for dinner, and thats always a good thing!. Its your friends house, that's what happens!
