When you eat at Starling you'll know what we value through our food and the setting. We only use fresh eggs that are cracked by hand. We use unsalted butter and heavy cream in our sauces and scones. Hand made baguettes are used for signature stuffed French Toast. When we offer fruit on our menu, it's fresh berries that are purchased daily. Not soggy melon or grapes that usually come pre-cut in a bag. You can get that at most other breakfast joints around. But not here. Our chefs actually cook and create not just warm things up or cut open boil and bag pre-cooked junk. It definitely isn't the most cost effective way to do things but, we are after all, in the cooking business. Voted "Best Brunch" and "Best French Toast"! We love being a part of Belmont Heights and Long Beach in general. It is our sincere hope to provide a wonderful experience to anyone who appreciates quality ingredients and made-to-order cooking in a quirky, comfy setting.

Easy access from the side walk, clear path ways inside the restaurant and tables with removable chair. Very good coffee. Sometimes you have to wait to be seated as they are usually quite busy for breakfast. Good service.
