Crozet Pizza opened in 1977 in the small town of Crozet, Virginia. Owners Bob and Karen Crum, along with their four children, renovated an old building that had gone unoccupied for years, turning it into a small pizza restaurant. When Crozet Pizza opened, it had a mere five tables, all hand built by Bob Crum himself. Before opening, Karen Crum perfected the Crozet Pizza dough recipe that is still made daily at both locations. Bob Crum created the distinctive pizza sauce that continues to delight customers today. Mr. Crum hand made every pizza that was served for 31 years, one by one. As its popularity grew, people began to call in days ahead to order one of Crozet Pizza’s delicious pies.
In 2004, Bob and Karen Crum retired and sold the business to their daughter, Colleen, her husband Mike Alexander and their three daughters. Today, Crozet Pizza continues to be a family owned business. New selections of salads and pies have been added to the menu, and pizzas continue to be made with fresh ingredients, local products (whenever possible), and of course Karen’s dough recipe and Bob’s special pizza sauce. And as always, all of our hand-tossed pizzas and fresh salads are made to order.
In addition to our original Crozet restaurant, Crozet Pizza is now available at our Charlottesville location in the historic Corner District on Elliewood Avenue. And while you no longer have to order days in advance, Bob and Karen’s children and grandchildren still serve the same great pies that Crozet Pizza has been known for over the last 40 years. Enjoy!

Plenty of parking space. entrance is little high than side walk. Nice little place to have pizza before you start the wine tour! We have the pizza with everything on it. The crust was a bit soggy but I’m sure it was from all the toppings. Will go back and try a different pizza!
