Opened in the spring of 2009, Linda Modern Thai is the second restaurant by Linda & Ernest Liu, owners of Salad King, Toronto’s favourite Thai restaurant. With Linda Modern Thai, Linda wanted to showcase the depth and versatility of Thai cuisine beyond just the curries and Pad Thais Torontonians have come to expect.

Led by Chef Gerry Quintero, at Linda Modern Thai, you’ll find traditional Thai dishes – such as our award winning Pad Thai – along with modern twists to classical Thai dishes you won’t find elsewhere. Inspired by fresh seasonal ingredients, Chef Quintero's Summer 2017 menu incorporates en vogue Thai flavours and encourages a family-style dining experience.

In 2013, Linda Modern Thai became the first restaurant in Canada to be awarded the Thai Select Premium designation by the Thai government, a global standard that recognizes restaurants for authentic Thai cuisine, outstanding service, and a great atmosphere. 2016 also marks the 25th anniversary of Salad King.
