The Shamrock is situated among towering pines on the eastern shore of Long Lake. Our location provides panoramic views and ample sun, as well as pleasant breezes from the Adirondack's prevailing winds. Within 500 feet of The Shamrock is The Town of Long Lake's Mt. Sabattis Recreation Area which features tennis and basketball courts and special events sponsored by the town. Only a few hundred feet further are the town shops, stores, churches and restaurants.
Motel
We offer clean and modern single units, as well as adjoining or family units.
Each room is furnished with two beds (Double or Queen size), a spacious bath, a refrigerator and coffee maker, satellite television,
electric heat, ceiling fans and WI-FI. Daily maid service provided.
A picture window in each unit provides panoramic views of Long Lake and the Adirondack Mountains.
Prevailing winds provide pleasant breezes that negate the rare need for air conditioning during the summer months.
Two guest controlled heating units in each motel unit keep everyone warm during the winter months.
Two night minimum stay during busy summer and holiday weekends.
Cottages
Modern and clean two bedroom housekeeping cottages. Nestled under towering pines and facing onto Long Lake, our cottages provide an ideal setting for your Adirondack vacation.
Each cottage is like a small house with a fully furnished kitchen, bath, two bedrooms, combined living and dining area, satellite television, and enclosed porches or decks overlooking the beach and Long Lake.
Barbecue grills and picnic tables are located just outside each cottage. Daily trash and recycling pickup provided. Most cottages have wireless internet access.
During the busy summer season (Late June to Early September), our cottages are rented by the week (Sat-Sat). At all other times, we require a two-night minimum stay.
During the summer season, dish towels and all bed linens are provided-we ask that you bring your own bath and beach towels. During other seasons, we provide all linens and towels.
Efficiency Units
A step beyond our motel units with fully furnished kitchens, more spacious baths a queen size bed, and sliding glass doors that open onto private decks overlooking our grounds and Long Lake.
Barbecue grills and picnic tables are located just outside each efficiency.
Wi-Fi and satellite television in each unit.
Daily maid service is provided for these modern, clean and luxurious units.
