Lea House offers the same high standards in three well-appointed bedrooms. The décor is eclectic with pieces gathered from around the UK and Guernsey. We enjoy buying pieces from local craftsman championing the local talent that is evident. If you like any pieces on your stay we will happily arrange for you to make contact.
Good food is also an essential part of this household and guests will find the home-made food a real treat, all produce is sourced locally where possible and bread is homemade, as is our jam and granola.We will attempt to cater for any dietary requirements, if pre advised. The B & B has in place the golden egg cup award, denoting an outstanding breakfast.
Rooms
The Hayloft
This spacious and airy room has a canopied 5' king-size bed with sofa and flatscreen digital TV, making it an ideal place to relax at the end of the day. The sofa can also sleep two and a further foldaway bed can be made available. It has an en suite shower. Free Wi-fi.
The Granary
Enjoy the oak beams, a black iron fireplace and antique pine furniture which are the features of this room. It has an extra king-size double bed (or two twin beds), a flatscreen digital TV and an en suite shower. Free Wi-fi.
The Cider Room
Another large room with oak beams and a window seat. It has twin/super king bed, flatscreen digital TV and a ensuite with bath & shower .All our rooms have beverage trays with a selection of tea, herb teas and coffee, and a biscuit jar. We provide fresh milk on request. There are hot water bottles, a good range of bathroom toiletries, an alarm clock and a hairdryer in each room. Also available on request are a trouser press, an iron & board, shoe-cleaning kit, use of the telephone, free Wi-fi access throughout and a laundry service. There is Freeview television in all rooms.
Breakfast
Breakfast is normally between 7.00am and 9.30am. Choose from a wide selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, fresh fruit juice, locally made sausages and a full English breakfast. The breads are homemade as are the jams and marmalade. Vegetarian and other special dietary needs are happily catered for, with prior notice please.
