We have an extensive breakfast menu. Vegetarians are always catered for.
All of our eight bedrooms have en-suite facilities.

In the sea view rooms we guarantee totally uninterrupted sea-views.
Tibbets and Marisco, the deluxe rooms, are larger than the standard sea-views, have larger bathrooms and have a Juliet balcony where you can sit and enjoy a cuppa while taking in the views.
Punchbowl and Pondsbury have balconies as well as sea-views.
The bathrooms are stocked with Scottish Fine Soaps Sea Kelp products.

Self-catering Apartment
Montagu Steps Apartment is truly in the most outstanding location enjoying incredible, breath taking sea views across the entire of Woolacombe Bay over to Putsborough, Baggy point and Hartland Point to the left and Morte point to the right with Lundy island directly in the middle. The south –west position affords it not only a magnificent sunny location but also wonderful sunsets.
It is situated directly above Grunta beach, which is a beautiful quiet beach with huge rock pools. There is direct access to the South West Coast Path at the bottom of its sheltered gardens and also has a private sunny decked area . The beaches of Combesgate, Barricane, and the main beach of Woolacombe are only 10/15 minutes walk time.
The apartment itself will sleep 5 . The main bedroom has a super king bed ; the second bedroom has a double bed as well as a velux window giving breath taking views across both Woolacombe Bay and the National Trust land and third bedroom has a single and a day bed, and flat screen tv. The living room and kitchen are open plan and share magnificent sea and National Trust views. There is a flat screen tv, satellite, dvd, i-pod docking and Wifi. Outside there is a very private sitting out area with balcony for dining or sunbathing. The kitchen is fitted with all main appliances including dining table and chairs to maximise the views from this location. The bathroom is of good size and has a large shower and separate bath. Towels, linen and toiletries provided.

The apartment can be summed up by its light bright airy feel , sunny and private location with the best views in the area! It is truly an idyllic spot !!
Please note that the owners prefer to take a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. However, due to the location and also that there are stairs to get to the apartment it is not suitable for those with mobility problems and who have difficulty with stairs.
Although there is only one parking place, there is ample parking for any additional cars in Mortehoe village (10 minute walking time ).
An additional benefit of the apartment is that the owners allow short stays of 3 and 5 nights apart from in high season. Please see the tariff for further details.
Guests are also welcome to share the facilities of the hotel where they can book themselves for breakfast and there is also a licensed bar- all at additional cost.
Dogs are welcome but please note is there a £20 per dog charge per holiday.
