Enjoy the beautiful National Trust land that surrounds us. The award winning beaches with vast expanses of golden sand and the secluded, tucked away beaches where you may be the only person.

Beach House

The Beach House is a bespoke cabin with an en-suite shower room, mini fridge (silent running), TV and DVD player. The windows are full length so that from any position, the views dominate your eyeline. We've even been featured on the 'loo with a view' site!! During stormy weather, you can snuggle in the well insulated cabin and let the storm rage around you. Hopefully, you'll have our glorious Devon weather and enjoy it from your private decking with the 'pod' - a comfortable day bed with cushions and blankets. It's a bit too cosy sometimes, I had to wake a groom before he missed his wedding!!

Breakfast

We don't want you to feel that there are deadlines and timetables here, we want you to feel relaxed and rejuvenated by your stay. So we made the decision to not have a set breakfast time. We have guests that are longing for a lie-in, an escape from their daily routine, or early birds that want to seize the day. We serve breakfast from 8am until 11.30am and have an extensive menu, as you'll see below. The only way this works, is if we know the night before what time you would like breakfast and what you would like for the cooked portion. That way, everything can be ready for you, at a time that suits you. We realise this is a strange set-up, but we want to offer the flexibility and choice this brings to our guests.

Mobility

If you have any mobility issues, our home may not be suitable for you. There are steps up to the Beach House which are fairly steep. We live on a hill in a very rugged landscape. This isn't an area for a gentle promenade in your best heels!! It is, however, a fantastic landscape for exploring and adventure - but bring some good footwear for the stunning coastal walks.

A great place, nice and quiet with beautiful views. But not a good place for disabled person though. They clearly state this thing on their website too and were sorry too. It will be difficult for them to make fully accessible as it is on Hill. We booked beach house and entrance had steps, so you need to help disabled person to make it. House was nice and comfortable but again bathroom did not have facilities matching disabled person need. Overall, being a disabled person one should avoid this place as it will be difficult to manage all the things during your accommodation. Breakfast and Staff service was excellent.
