A family run park with the personal touch, set 6.5 acres with superb views of the surrounding countryside. A large proportion of the site is terraced, which is ideal as every pitch is at a different level and can accommodate tents and caravans.
Trekenning Tourist Park is a family run park for families. Set in 6.5 Acres surrounded by mature trees.
We are 7 miles from breathtaking beaches, and are centrally located to make the most of your time in Cornwall. Being a small park all our facilities are centrally located, just a short walk away. Trekenning is in such a position that the best of both worlds is available to all that stay - many beaches are easily accessible including the famous beaches of Fistral and Watergate Bay.
If your idea of a great holiday is just to relax and unwind you will find our picturesque swimming pool area heaven. Another wonderful thing about Trekenning is the safety of children, with only one entrance / exit to they are safe to enjoy themselves and meet with old friends and new. A children's play area gives the little one a place to escape too..
In the evenings some enjoy to just sit outside their caravans and tents sipping wine and barbecuing, others make their way to the Hayloft Bar where they can sample bar food and great beers. Our traditional pub style bar serving local cask ales and pub food (limited opening out of high season).
Please Note; As the site is close to Newquay Airport and the A39, there can be occasional noise from aircraft and cars.
Facilities
We pride ourselves on our facilities cleanliness; being a small park all our facilities are centrally located, just a short walk away. We have family bathrooms, individual WC's and shower facilities located in 2 separate blocks. With washing up facilities and a laundry to take care of your washing needs.
In addition to this we a large outdoor heated swimming pool set in picturesque surroundings with views across the park and rolling Cornish hill in the distance. Our traditional pub style bar serves local cask ales and pub food. (limited opening out of high season) Takeaway meals are available from the bar. Attached to the bar is a lovely conservatory with an outside decking area, ideal for watching the sun go down.
The Reception has a well stocked selection of Tourist Information Brochures with a number of Discount vouchers available for the most popular attractions. There is a shop and café / takeaway open in the high season.
Bar and Games Room
Access to the bar and games room is via a gravel lane, which has a small gradient.
The bar has a selection of different tables and chairs, which can be removed on request.
The conservatory and decking area adjoining the bar and are all on one level.
There is one set of shallow steps from the decking to the bar toilets.
