Welcome to Treloy Touring Park, a beautiful campsite in the Cornish countryside, conveniently close to the busy town of Newquay and some amazing beaches, but tucked away from the crowds.
At Treloy Touring Park, we cater exclusively for families and couples looking for a camping holiday, with their own touring caravan, motor home or tent. We are big enough to offer comprehensive amenities, but small enough to care.
Our sheltered location, only 3 miles from Newquay, makes us an ideal base to explore the stunning beaches and coastal paths, picturesque villages and Cornwall’s top attractions.
Before you arrive
Our aim is to ensure that all visitors can enjoy a holiday at Treloy Touring Park. Please feel free to telephone us to discuss your needs if the following does not answer your questions.
We have pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes. If you require a pitch very close to the toilets/showers, we will do our best, but early booking is advisable, and please let us know your requirements. You will find details on our website, and bookings can be made via our secure on-line system, or by telephone, or by post using a printable Booking Form.
The hire of wheelchairs and other goods can be arranged through locally based Speedy Hire, 01637 871151, they will deliver and collect from the site.
We can charge electric devices including wheelchairs arrange storage of chilled medicines and can receive pre arrival deliveries of oxygen in small amounts.
Some boundaries and hedges are not trimmed too heavily, this supports wildlife migration. Some areas of the site are possibly better suited for those customers who suffer allergies such as hay fever. Please ask when booking.
The public approach roads to the Park allow excellent access. The highways department say the upgraded Bodmin Moor A30 dual carriageway will be useable for the school holidays 2016.
On Arrival
On arrival you will need to book in at Reception, and you will be asked for your car registration number for our number plate recognition system. There is a ramp to Reception, and wide doors. If the doors are closed, please ring the bell, which is at low level, for assistance. There is a w.c. in reception. There is a high level desk, but we can provide a clipboard if required. Once booked in, you may drive your car to your pitch and park it on the pitch. Please use the pitching guide it is aimed at conforming to fire regulations. There are hard roads to the pitches.Where necessary pitches have been landscaped to make them flat or as near as possible. Many roads have been widened, but please ask for assistance if you need it.

On the park
When on the park, you will be able to purchase wi-fi access. This is payable by card, on the mobile phone or device you wish to use.
There is a public telephone beside the Takeaway. Mobile phone reception is variable.
There are water points in each of the camping areas. Much of the site is lit during the hours of darkness.
When Reception is closed, you will find emergency numbers displayed on the doors or side panels.
Toilets and Showers
There are two modern toilet and shower blocks, with ramps for wheel-chair access. A smaller, third block, containing toilets only, has a step.
There is also a dedicated easy access disability shower/toilet ‘wet’ room, opened by your radar key. Should you forget yours, we have spare keys to hire from Reception, £10 deposit- returned when your holiday is over.
There are three family shower rooms (one with a bath) , 1 step up to these rooms. Ask at reception to borrow a key, £10 deposit required.
One ladies shower block has a large mother and baby room, the other block has a parent and baby room.
There are free to use hair-driers, shaver points, and electric sockets for your own curlers, hair-straighteners etc.
Laundry Facilities
Level access to three coin-operated washing machines (front loading) and two coin-operated tumble driers (one at floor level, the other stacked above it). £1 coins and 20 pence coins required. In the same room there are clothes washing sinks with free hot water.
Both shower blocks have dish washing sinks with free hot water, and the free use of irons and ironing boards.
Shop
There is level access to the shop and a wide door, and access to the terrace at the side of the shop, overlooking the children’s play area. There are picnic tables here. You can hire our frozen ice-packs (£1 deposit, + 30p for freezing for each pack).
Swimming Pool
Access to the patio to the swimming pool side of the shop is via 4 steps with hand rail, and another 4 steps with handrail to the swimming pool, which has a simple magnetic childproof gate. If you have a wheelchair or pram and wish to access the pool area, please ask at reception and we will open a side gate for you. There are also 2 large pool side changing rooms adjacent to the pool, with level access. There is also a toilet, with baby change and easy access.
Cafe/Takeaway
There are four steps into the cafe. The terrace with tables in front of the takeaway has no steps. Menus are available from the cafe and also at reception. Open for breakfasts and in the evenings during school holidays. Please ask if assistance is required.
Bar and Games room
Access to the large terrace is via 2 steps, The Games room is open in the evenings via a door from this terrace. From the patio there are a further 4 steps to the Bar; however an easy access side entrance can be unlocked by arrangement, please ask at reception. Inside, the bar is all on one level with moveable tables and mostly moveable chairs.
Refuse Disposal and Recycling
There are 2 main refuse and recycling areas, one by shower block (numbered 11 on park plan), and one by the playground (number 5 on park plan).
Chemical Disposal Points
Both shower blocks have these.
Motor Home Disposal Point
We offer a dedicated easy access motor home service point for emptying onboard grey waste tanks and refilling.
Out & About in Cornwall
Leaflets and packs of information about attractions in Cornwall are held in Reception and in the Laundry area. There is a bus service along the A3059 to Newquay etc; it’s about 440 metres / 10 minutes walk to the bus stop.
At reception we can also provide you with taxi numbers.

We have just come home from Treloy after fabulous time there, the site is very family orientated and has everything you would ever need to enjoy a superb holiday. The showers are free, loads of hot water at all times, toilets are always kept clean. Disabled shower was well fitted out & Plenty of toilet and shower blocks dotted here and there and a well equipped disabled room. Overall we enjoyed there.
