YHA Broad Haven is just 100m from the gorgeous sandy Blue Flag Broad Haven beach and the Pembrokeshire coastal footpath. The Youth Hostel is in a village location with a large car park which is fully accessible for coaches. If you're feeling peckish, why not enjoy some food with a view at our Haven's Beach Cafe?

A great spot for activity breaks: surfing, diving - all kinds of watersports holidays. Make a splash in St Brides Bay when you go sea kayaking or scuba-diving. Refurbished to a high standard, this hostel has views over the bay and is close to a lovely beach, perfect for cheap family seaside breaks. Explore the coastal path or, at low tide, walk the half mile over the sand to Little Haven with its quaint fishermen’s cottages and quayside. If you're in the mood for some orienteering fun, we now have a geocaching trail in our grounds - courtesy of Cotswold Outdoor Company!

The Hostel

YHA Broad Haven is a spacious, modern, single storey building, set in its own grounds. There are 15 bedrooms with 77 beds in total.  1 x 8 bedded room, 5 x 7 bedded rooms, 4 x 5 bedded rooms, 3 x 4 bedded rooms and 2 x 2/3 bedded rooms which consist of 1 double bed with single on top. The majority of the bedrooms are fully en-suite. The Youth Hostel is Visit Wales Accredited 4 star.

Access Statement

At YHA Broad Haven we strive to cater for everybody. All of our bedrooms are located on the ground floor and we have level access showers. However, we do not currently have a shower which meets modern standards of accessibility.

Breakfast

Breakfast is a hot and cold buffet with continental and full English options available, served from 7.30am - 9.00am

Lunch

We can provide a packed lunch including a freshly prepared sandwich, a delicious cake, cereal bar, a bottle of mineral water, a packet of crisps and a piece of fresh fruit. Eat in the hostel or take your packed lunch with you to enjoy during your day of exploring.
