We offer a range of accommodation options designed to suit both your budget and your desired level of luxury. From the camping field to the cosy holiday cottage, Shortlands Farm has something to offer everyone.

Set in 29 acres, Shortlands Farm has stunning sea views and overlooks St Brides Bay in Druidston, Pembrokeshire, West Wales. The farm is currently home to dairy cows and their calves, and there are also rabbits, badgers, foxes and numerous birds to be seen on and around the farm.

Shortlands Farm tries to limit its impact on the environment so encourages recycling and uses Good Energy – electricity from renewable resources.

Granary Cottage

The Old Granary is a beautifully renovated old Pembrokeshire stone building on Shortlands Farm at Druidston, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It enjoys wonderful views over St Brides Bay and is ideal for Self-Catering for 6 people (babies are welcome too) but can sleep up to 8 people by using the sofabed in the master bedroom.

The building was tastefully renovated in spring 2013 using local and reclaimed materials including slate and stone. There is underfloor heating throughout the holiday cottage and a wood burning stove to add to the cosy feel of the cottage.

There is a large master king-size bedroom (with sofabed), a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom.

The living room has two sofas and armchairs, with a TV and DVD/Bluray player. There are boardgames and books about the local area. The large oak dining table and chairs will seat up to 8 people.

There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and a shower over the bath. There is also a shower room with toilet, sink and large walk-in shower.

There is a modern fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine.

Outside is a stunning terrace with furniture for al fresco meals and glorious views over St Brides Bay as far as Solva and Ramsey Island to the north and Skomer Island to the south.

There is parking space for two cars.

We accept dogs (maximum of 2 at a time) but ask that they are confined to the main living space and hallway.

Smoking is not permitted inside The Old Granary.

Prices include all heating, including logs and the provision of freshly-laundered bedlinen and towels.

Static Caravan

The static caravan has the best sea views of the whole farm, both from inside and from the raised wooden deck which sits at the side of the caravan overlooking St Brides Bay.

The holiday caravan sleeps 6, in one double bedroom and two twin rooms. The twin beds are all 6ft long.

The static caravan has a spacious sitting/dining area, a fully fitted and kitted out kitchen, and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The large deck has a wooden picnic table and an umbrella, and lighting for sitting out in the evening.

There are electric lights and an electric heater in the double bedroom, as well as a gas fire and gas cooker/hob, so the caravan is suitable for use all year round – even in Pembrokeshire! The caravan also has a TV with DVD player, some games, books and local information.

A highchair can be provided if required.

Neither smoking nor pets are permitted in the caravan.

The caravan is available to rent from Saturday to Saturday, or for a minimum of 3 nights outside of school holidays.

The Campsite

The Shortlands Farm campsite is the perfect model of Pembrokeshire camping. We don’t tell you where to pitch, it’s up to you but we do ask you to respect your neighbours. The camping field is backed by traditional hedgerows and slap bang amid the rural beauty of Pembrokeshire farmland.

Camping Facilities

We recently built a brand new unisex toilet and shower block which is fully open for business. There are 3 toilets and 3 showers as well as 2 wash-basins both with shaving points. There is also a fridge/freezer, a sink for washing-up and an outdoor fresh water tap.

Our whole group was here recently, it is nice place to spend some good time with your close one’s. Many of members stayed on campsite, but due to accessible requirements i choose to stay at Granary Cottage. It had very good facilities inside and i felt like being at home, bed was comfortable and at good height. One bathroom had roll-in shower and it was accessible. Kitchen had all the basic amenities. Master king size bedroom was best suitable for accessible needs. Overall had a wonderful experience and we enjoyed our time there.
