Set in an Area of YHA Isle of Wight Totland has the best of both worlds - village location, but Newport, our Island Capital, is a 20 minute drive away and the bigger east coast towns, beaches and attractions are only 30 minutes away, so this hostel makes a perfect base for exploring the island.
Colwell Bay, the Needles Pleasure Park and Alum Bay are all within easy reach for family days out. There really is something for everyone at YHA Isle of Wight Totland. If you're looking for an activity break, there's amazing waves for surfing as well as routes for walking and cycling for every ability. Take a walk along the downs or the cliff top path, enjoy an ice-cream on the pier or take a dip in the sea before returning to a tasty evening meal in the restaurant.
Accommodation
This 50 bed Youth Hostel has a selection of dorm beds and private rooms available. Relax in our beautifully kept guest garden or get comfortable with a good book in our well stocked library/quiet lounge before indulging in an evening meal in our restaurant. The spacious main lounge is on the first floor and offers plenty of comfortable seating. There is also a lounge on the ground floor which has a TV, books and games. There is also a dining room with tables and chairs.
Hire the whole place
This hostel is occasionally made available for hire on an exclusive basis. This means that you can have the place to yourself and choose how many of your friends, family, club mates, etc., join you. We allocate availability for exclusive use in blocks, typically up to 90 days in the future. If you are looking for space to stay with us on a normal shared basis, and can’t see any availability three months or more into the future, then this hostel may be being held for Exclusive Hire.
