The Stoats Farm campsite nestles in a fold at the foot of the Tennyson Downs close to the home of the poet laureate after whom they were named. Enjoying lovely views across open farmland yet close to local amenities - the local country pub is directly across the road.
Our situation makes Stoats Farm an ideal base for enjoying the walking, cycling and touring for which the West Wight has become famous throughout the world. The Isle of Wight is perfect for holidays with all the family and we are proud that many of our visitors return to us year after year.
We have ample accommodation for tents, caravans and camper vans and the campsite offers all of the facilities expected by today's experienced enthusiasts. Our season runs from the 1st of April to the 31st of October.
Shepherds Cottage
Shepherd’s Cottage sleeps up to 6 persons and is perfect for a family holiday. We are also dog friendly and welcome your dog / dogs to stay here with you.
Available for short or long periods throughout the season, the cottage is a special sort of place which draws back families and friends, year after year.
West Wight is renowned for offering everything needed for the perfect holiday – fine beaches, wonderful walking through glorious scenery and a wealth of things to keep you busy when the weather is not quite as good as usual.
The accommodation, which is centrally heated, comprises a lounge, kitchen/diner, bathroom, 2 bedrooms sleeping 2 and 4 persons. The fully equipped kitchen has electric cooking, microwave, washing machine and full-size fridge/freezer. Outside there is a furnished patio with a gas Barbecue. Also full use of the garden around the property. All linens, bedding and kitchen towels are provided. Other towels can only be provided upon request. Complimentary Tea, Coffee and Sugar is provided.
Bookings for the cottage are made through Stoats Farm and information on prices and availability can be obtained by telephoning 01983-755258 or sending us an email to bookings@stoats-farm.co.uk We would ask that you vacate the cottage by 11 am on departure day in order for us to clean for new arrivals. New arrivals will be welcome to have the cottage available from 3 pm.
Dogs
Dogs are very welcome at Stoats Farm, however we would ask they are kept on a lead at all times and are cleared up after. We have another (unused) field, just up the road, which you are welcome to use to exercise your pet/s and where, at your own discretion, they can be let off their leads. Please ask at reception for directions.
